Baseline and Knowledge Attitude Practice (KAP) Study for Project “Increased Preparedness in Schools for Safe and Secure Education Continuity in Bihar”

Objectives:

1. To assess the knowledge and skills among children and teachers to develop safe and protective environment in and around schools contributing to education continuity. 2. To assess the status of readiness / functionality of the schools in creating a safe and protective environment in and around schools. 3. To assess the knowledge and skill of the School Management Committee to develop safe school plan, conduct school safety audit and create a safe and protective environment in school. 4. To assess the present status of implementation of Safe Schools parameters as per Bihar governments policies, frameworks and programmes (components which relates to Save the Children’s Safe Schools approach). 5. To generate evidence on the status of safe school interventions in increasing children’s resilience. 6. Provide recommendations to formulate the strategies for an integrated intervention leading to improved knowledge and skills of the target group and strengthening the project intervention.
