SIGMA Foundation, as a partner of UNICEF, assisted PHED to roll out JJM in the state. There were multiple activities of which the key components were:

• • drafting policy guidelines
• • preparation of model village action plan (VAPs) in 46 GPs of 5 blocks of 4 districts
• • building capacity of the GPs & the VWSCs
• • conducting KAP study on climate resilient WASH services in 3 blocks
• • Assessed the status of under ground water in 3 blocks
• • prepared water security plans for 3 GPs
• • promoted handhygiene in 5 locks of 4 districts
