Strengthening GPDP/Panchayat Initiatives and Knowledge Management in Maharashtra
Objectives:The specific objectives of the study are to;
a. Assess implementation of GR to the ground realities and provide evidence-based recommendations and strategic directions for the next phase of five years.
b. Assess Programme implementation by PRIs and community participation in the process.
c. Assess the capacity building programmes rolled out as part of GPDP and recommend amendments if any for the next phase.
d. Assess the investments on social development (nutrition, education, livelihood) and women and children with focus on the development activities taken up in the current phase of the GPDP
e. Assess the data management systems including monitoring systems and provide recommendations
f. Document good practices and innovations in the state with respect to PRIs at state, district, block and GP levels, which will come across during the study.
