Facilitating Implementation of Jal Jeevan Mission, Climate Resilient WASH Interventions and Mainstreaming Hand Hygiene in Context of COVID-19 Pandemic in West Bengal
Objectives:The Project aims to fulfil the following broad objectives:
• Support State Public Health Engineering Dept. in roll out of key components of JJM/Jal Swapna such as engagement of Implementing Support Agencies and Village /GP Action Plans by demonstrating model scalable VAP/GPAP as per processes laid down by JJM Operational Guidelines
• Develop a set of policy and program implemetaion guidelines and technical notes for guidance to State and District PHE Directorates.
• Develop capacities of a range of stakeholders Govt. and non Govts. (State, Districts, GPs and ISAs) on JJM, climate risk and resilient water management, COVID-19 prevention and hand hygiene
• Conduct situational analysis and communication needs analysis for climate resilient WASH and integrated water management.
