Micro Planning on Safe Drinking Water, Waste Water Management, Rejuvenation of Water Bodies & Rain Water Harvesting within 11 Urban Local Bodies of the State of West Bengal
Objectives:The objective was to assess the status of drinking water supply, waste water management, water conservation and to know the scope of rejuvination of water bodies within the ULBs. This was taken up for Cluster of ULBs. SIGMA Foundaiton did this study for 13 ULBs of Bankura, Purulia East and West Burdwan. This was done by collecting primary data from each Ward and collecting secondary dta from the ULB and field observations.
