Hand hygiene is given a special focus due to its criticality during the COVID 19 pandemic. Classification of hygiene is discussed with its practise hierarchy. Components of hygiene are discussed in details such as critical times of handwash, maintaining hygiene while cooking and serving food, handling child faeces. Various aspects of gender issues of hygiene is also covered in the module. Menstrual hygiene management is probed in detailed with the modern outlook. IEC/SBCC solution for each has been provided in lucid language and a laid strategy has been explained.
